ABOUT ODD DOLL RECORDS

Odd Doll Records is a trailblazing boutique record label located in Treaty 1 (Winnipeg, MB). It was created to support those rare, unheard gems that bring a unique cultural twist to the commercial music scene. As a proud branch of the award-winning Misfit Music Inc., the label shares the same enthusiasm for uncovering art that defies categorization.

Launched by shareholders Claire Boning and Elise Roller in 2025, and managed by Chris Bryson, ODR became the first women-owned record label in Manitoba dedicated to releasing music from a diverse roster of artists.

KIMMORTAL

Kimmortal's new single Sunniest of Days marks the launch of their upcoming EP by the same name and their debut release with Odd Doll Records. A collaboration between Kimmortal and Juno-winning rapper, Shad, this song is a reflection on how weird it is to be human - to exist, love, create art during a time of global crisis. Singing and soulful harmonies featuring vocalist FRANKY, this song provides listeners with melancholy peaks through the beats of lofi hiphop, piano swells, and reflective lyricism processing personal and collective grief.

KELLY BADO

Kelly Bado’s debut single with Odd Doll, "La Danse," released Feb 19, 2025, serves as a vibrant introduction to ODR’s barrier-breaking ethos. A collaboration with Academy and 2x Grammy award nominee, and 7x Juno award-winning producer Brian West (Nelly Furtado, K’NAAN, Sia, Maroon 5, Awolnation), the French-language ballad combines melody and emotion, drawing from a palette of sweeping piano and strings as Bado’s radiant voice soars. At the song’s transportive core is a reminder that by letting go of fear, we can find our way back to joy.
